About the Training Course

This two-day, in-depth, training course is designed to give fleet managers the tools they need to build or expand their alternatively fueled vehicles with confidence.  The lead presenter is Leo Thomason who has more than twenty years experience in the application of alternative fuels for large and small, public and private fleets throughout the world.  Leo is the lead trainer for all AFVi training programs.

During the training sessions the following elements will be covered, with time allowed for Q&A. A case study will be used at various points in the training to further explore the various steps in greening your fleet.

Agenda

Day One
Registration and continental breakfast will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Training will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m., with lunch provided at noon.
An evening mixer is planned from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
 
Day Two
Continental breakfast will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Training running from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Registration

The fees:
This training is currently being scheduled in the Anaheim area for early March. Final dates and location will be announced by November 30. Registration fees will be $1,195 for early registration and $1,295 for those registering within a month of the training dates.

Cancellation Policy
No refunds will be made, but substitutions within the same company are welcome at any time. Substitutions must be made in writing and sent by email to info@afvi.org or mailed to Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute, 6771 W Charleston Blvd, Ste C, Las Vegas, NV 89146.

Hotel Reservations

Hotel reservations will be available using our convenient on-line hotel reservation service. Registration for the training and hotel reservations will be open by November 30.

Review of the Session in Chicago

Our first public offering of this course was completed November 6-7, 2007, in Chicago. When attendees were asked what they liked best about the training, one simply said, “I learned how to develop my answers on how to green my fleet.” Other attendees added that they liked:
