NGV Driver and Mechanic Safety Training

This one-day course is devoted to training drivers and mechanics on safe driving, fueling and maintenance of today’s natural gas vehicles. The training will deliver all the information necessary to insure that your NGV fleet is driven, fueled and maintained to meet or exceed current safety standards. Trainers are welcome and will go through the same training as Drivers and Mechanics and will also receive “Train the Trainer” instruction and all course materials and support software.

CNG Fuel System Inspector Training Course

This two-day course focuses on teaching the proper techniques for inspecting on-board compressed natural gas fueling systems. NHTSA states that on-board vehicle CNG fuel storage cylinders, manufactured after March of 1995, should be visually inspected every three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. You will learn the proper methods to use to insure vehicle fuel storage safety and integrity. The training includes hands-on inspection of vehicle fuel cylinders.

CNG Fueling Station Design Certification Course

CNG Fueling Station Design is a two-day course which provides comprehensive training
for public and commercial sector professionals needing to learn the most up-to-date
methods and practices for sizing, designing, specifying, and constructing a CNG
fueling station -- ideal for engineers, designers, owners and those interested
in acquiring a CNG fueling station. Attendees receive a certificate of course
completion, upon getting at least 70% correct on the course exam.


CNG Fueling Station Operation & Maintenance Certification

practices" for natural gas fueling station operation and maintenance --
ideal for station maintenance personnel who need to develop and implement effective
routine maintenance and safety plans. Attendees receive a certificate of course

Driver, Technician and Fuel Handler Safety Training for LNG Powered Vehicles

This one-day course is devoted to training drivers, technicians and fuel handlers on safe driving, fueling and operating practices of today's liquefied natural gas (LNG) vehicles. The training will deliver all the information necessary to insure that your fleet powered by LNG is driven, fueled and maintained in a facility to meet or exceed current safety standards. You will also learn the safety features of the LNG fuel storage and delivery system.

CNG Fueling Stations: A Project Manager’s Guide to Sizing, Design, Specifying, Permitting and Construction

This one-day course provides comprehensive training for project managers on the most up-to-date methods and practices for sizing, designing, specifying, permitting and constructing a CNG fueling station. The course is especially for fleet and other professionals tasked with acquiring or overseeing CNG fueling. You will learn the principles of CNG fueling station sizing, design and construction that result in fueling that is cost-effective, safe and meets both code requirements and the fueling needs of customers. This is the only course available that offers the detailed, technical information you need to understand CNG fueling stations and to manage CNG fueling station construction projects.
Leo Thomason, a nationally recognized expert on compressed natural gas fueling stations and the Executive Director of Natural Gas Vehicle Institute, teaches the course.
The training course fee includes a detailed printed class manual with room for notes. Attendees receive a certificate of course completion, upon attending the entire class. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
