AFVi’s Management Team
Annalloyd Thomason, Executive Director
Annalloyd Thomason leads AFVi, responsible for planning, budgeting and overall
organizational management. Annalloyd participates with other management
team members in program development, marketing and fund raising. Since 1989,
Annalloyd has provided a variety of services to the AFV industry, including business
plans, communications, market analyses and training programs. A short list of
her consulting clients includes U.S. Department of Energy, Shell Oil Company,
the Las Vegas Regional Clean Cities Coalition, the Gas Technology Institute,
and NGVAmerica. Annalloyd is also a member of DOE’s Tiger Team program.
Jackie Lanning, Director of Market Development and Information
Jackie Lanning is responsible for market definition and development, through
market research, marketing and database management. In addition, she assists
with program development and is responsible for production and delivery of information
to targeted markets. Jackie brings nearly 20 years of market research and development
to AFVi, having worked for 12 years in the banking and utility industries prior
to joining the team six years ago. She has served on the local Board of Directors
for the American Marketing Association.
Kimberly Taylor, Director of Education and Business Programs
Kimberly Taylor’s responsibilities include strategic planning, project
design and implementation, market assessments, convening of existing and prospective
stakeholders, and oversight of AFVi’s outreach activities. She is
the project leader for the National Alternative Fuels and Vehicles Conference
and Expo. Prior to joining AFVi, Kimberly worked for the Department of
Energy’s (DOE) National Renewable Energy Laboratory as a Senior Project
Leader in the Center for Transportation Technologies and Systems. She also
managed strategic planning and industry stakeholder relations for DOE’s
Clean Cities program.
Leo Thomason, Director of Consulting and Technical Training
Leo Thomason has more than 20 years of experience in the application of alternative
fuels, especially natural gas. He has developed and is currently
lead instructor for all of AFVi’s training courses, including AFV driver
and mechanic safety training, compressed natural gas fueling station design and
construction; fueling station operation and maintenance, and CNG cylinder inspection
and maintenance.
Leo has extensive knowledge and experience with development of AFV markets and
alternative fueling infrastructure in California and the Western United States. He
was the first Executive Director of the California Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition,
facilitating the formation of the organization and creating its mission and organizational
structure.
