The AFVi management team is composed of seasoned alternative fuel business, policy and technology experts, as well as responsive professionals-all who are ready and capable of assisting fleet operators and others to have successful experiences with alternative fuels. For two decades, AFVi has been helping fleet managers and industry professionals navigate the road to alternative fuels. Meet our management team.

Annalloyd Thomason, Executive Director
As Executive Director, Annalloyd Thomason leads AFVi, responsible for planning, budgeting and overall organizational management.  Since 1989, Annalloyd has provided a critical function for the alternative fuels industry, helping create both strategic direction and the plans for getting there.  She has delivered a variety of services to the AFV industry, including business plans, communications, market analyses and training programs. A short list of her consulting clients includes American Honda Motor Company, U.S. Department of Energy, Shell Oil Company, the Las Vegas Regional Clean Cities Coalition, the Gas Technology Institute, and NGVAmerica.

With 20 years’ experience in the utility and alternative fuel industries, Jackie Lanning is responsible for AFVi’s market definition and development. She manages AFVi’s marketing programs, website, and other outreach efforts.  Jackie is an expert in market research, analysis, interpretation and strategic planning. She has served on the local Board of Directors for the American Marketing Association.

Kimberly Taylor, Director of Education and Business ProgramsKimberly Taylor, Director of Education and Business Programs
Kimberly Taylor’s primary responsibility is development of educational program content.  She authors AFVi’s daily news and editorial, monitoring the “hot topics,” and ensuring that AFVi’s programs reflect current interests and controversies.  She is the program manager for the National Alternative Fuels &Vehicles Conference.  In addition, she is responsible for industry partner relations.  Prior to joining AFVi, Kimberly worked for the Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Renewable Energy Laboratory as a Senior Project Leader in the Center for Transportation Technologies and Systems.  She also managed strategic planning and industry stakeholder relations for DOE’s Clean Cities program.

Leo Thomason is a venerable pioneer in the alternative fuels industry, with more than 25 years of experience in the application of alternative fuels, especially natural gas.  He has developed and is currently lead instructor for all of AFVi’s training courses, including AFV Driver and Mechanic Safety Training, Compressed Natural Gas Fueling Station Design and Construction; Fueling Station Operation and Maintenance, and CNG Fuel System Inspection and Maintenance.  Leo has worked world-wide with AFV clients, including those in India, Bangladesh, and the Philippines.  Leo’s expertise is sought after especially by fleet managers who are trouble shooting alternative fueling issues or are planning fueling station expansion.

Debi Kinney, Director of Meetings and Conference Management
Debi Kinney is responsible for planning and managing meeting logistics for all AFVi events, including forums, training classes, the annual AFV conference, Las Vegas Regional Clean Cities outreach events and others. Debi has over a decade of event management experience. She is a former member of Meeting Professionals International. In 2006 Debi was honored with the San Diego Chapter Leadership Award, given annually to recognize a member who has demonstrated exceptional dedication toward chapter success.
