ATTENTION CLEAN CITIES COORDINATORS!

General Motors is extremely pleased to announce the continuation of our Clean Cities Reward Program. We are proud to be able to continue providing financial assistance to those Clean Cities Coalitions that are truly "moving the needle" towards Alternative Fuel Vehicle sales. This new funding program will provide opportunities for coalitions to receive significantly more GM contribution than ever before….

What activities will GM be rewarding?
  • E85 and CNG vehicle sales
  • % Increase in E85 and CNG vehicle sales
  • E85, CNG, and Hydrogen refueling sites
  • % Increase in E85 and CNG refueling sites
  • Participation at fleet functions
  • Involvement with a GM Certified AFV Dealer
How many coalitions will be receiving funding from General Motors?
  • The Clean Cities Reward program is designed to dramatically enhance the effectiveness of GM funding to Clean Cities Coalitions
  • General Motors will provide financial assistance to forty coalition in 2006. General Motors will provide $10,000 to the top-performing coalition
  • General Motors will provide other awardees with rewards ranging from $1000 to $5000

  • General Motors will automatically generate vehicle sales reports for your area in March, 2006. These reports will be available for your review upon request to Lydia Ciemniak at the address above in April, 2006.

  • Return application by February 28, 2006 to be eligible for funding
When will the rewards be announced?
  • General Motors will announce 2006 rewards at the Clean Cities Congress in Phoenix, Arizona in May, 2006.
Does this program replace funding I previously received from GM?
  • Yes. General Motors is rewarding those coalitions that are effectively using resources to advance the alternative fuel vehicle industry.
  • The funding rewards that GM provides in 2006 to individual coalitions will replace stakeholder dues and event sponsorship funds.
