• Registration information AND payment must be received by the early registration date to receive the discounted rate.
• Fleet professionals qualify for this rate if they are the principal owner, co-owner, or operator of a fleet of 10 or more vehicles.
• Designated U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities Coordinators only may attend at this rate.
• Speakers at a general or break-out session receive a complimentary registration for the day of their presentation, which includes access to all sessions, as well as any luncheon, mixer, or reception that may be offered on that day. Should a speaker wish to attend the entire conference, the discounted rate above applies.
• Students must currently be enrolled full-time in an accredited community college, college or university. To be eligible for this rate, student ID will be required on-site.
• Expo Staff Only registrants receive access to the Expo Marketplace and the food functions held in the Expo Marketplace only. Expo only registrants do not have access to conference sessions, luncheons and other conference events.
• An attendee may purchase a single-day ticket. This pass will be good for conference events for the given day, including any reception or meal functions that may be scheduled.
• At the Conference, a person may choose to purchase a Tuesday pass for the Expo Marketplace for a fee of $99. This pass will provide access to the Expo hall only from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Conference Hotel and Reservation Information

The Rio All-Suite Hotel Las Vegas is the official hotel and conference facility for the Alternative Fuels & Vehicles National Conference + Expo 2008. AFVi will have a limited number of conference hotel rooms available to be reserved at the special conference rate of $155 per night, plus tax. A limited number of rooms are available at the government rate of $114, plus tax, per night. To make your room reservation, you must first register for the Conference + Expo. Then, AFVi will provide you the web-link to our convenient on-line hotel reservation site.

The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino features more than 2,500 suites, each providing spectacular views of Las Vegas. Every suite offers more than 600 square feet of spacious luxury, with amenities that include a separate dressing area, couch, 32-inch TV, table with chairs, hair dryer, in-suite refrigerator, iron, ironing board and complimentary in-suite safe.

Ground Transportation

A variety of transportation services are available at the airport, including car rentals, taxi cabs, shuttle and limousine service.
